Your Role:
As an IOP Mental Health Therapist, you will be a key part of our clinical team, facilitating group therapy and providing individual support to clients navigating mental health and substance use challenges. You'll help create a safe, structured, and empowering environment where healing and growth are possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive mental health and substance use assessments for new clients.
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions that promote emotional processing, skill-building, and peer support.
- Provide initial and ongoing individual therapy to support clients’ recovery journeys.
- Complete timely, accurate clinical documentation in accordance with state and organizational standards.
- Engage in continuous learning to stay current on best practices and emerging treatment modalities.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related behavioral health field.
- Licensed clinicians (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) and current registration as an intern or associate with the appropriate Oregon board (e.g., LPC-Associate, CSWA, LMFT-Associate).
- Passion for working with youth (ages 12+) and young adults in an intensive outpatient setting.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and clinical documentation skills.
- A team player mindset with a genuine commitment to compassionate client care.
