Pre-Commitment Investigator

Options for Southern Oregon, Inc. seeks full-time Pre-Commitment Investigator in Grants Pass, Oregon: Conducts pre-commitment investigations and evaluations; writes court reports; coordinates witnesses’ attendance and testimonies; testifies in court; Monitors individuals on civil commitment and confers with Court and other parties; Maintains records, prepares reports for trial; Provides crisis intervention, evaluations, diversion related services in crisis/emergent situations; Provides consultation and education services; Provides mental health treatment to clients; Conducts court ordered Aid and Assist assessments for community restoration activities; Conducts Preadmission Screening and Resident Review (PASRR) assessments.

Travel 60% of the time within Josephine County and Jackson County to various locations is required.  Occasional work on the weekends and holidays is required.
